Running in 2026? Guåhan's voters are already here doing their homework. Every one of the 52 candidates gets the same free, uniform profile — and a place in the Smart Match tool that connects you to the people who share your priorities.

Vote Smart Guam — Candidate Guide

Reach voters directly

Thousands of Guam voters — especially young, mobile voters — come here to decide. Your profile is how they meet you.

A level playing field

Every candidate gets the exact same profile, free of charge. No paid placement, no ranking — just your record and where you stand.

Accurate & in your words

We publish only what you provide, and only after you submit it. You can request updates or corrections anytime.

How to create your profile

  1. Sign in with your code

We email each candidate a private claim code. Go to the candidate portal, enter your email, and we'll send you a one-time sign-in link — no password. Open it, select your name from the ballot, and enter your code to claim your profile.

  2. Build your profile

Add your bio, platform, experience, education, and links. Your name, office, and party come straight from the official ballot and can't be edited — so voters always see accurate basics.

  3. Upload your headshot

Add a clear, friendly photo right on the site so voters can put a face to your name. It saves the moment you upload it.

  4. Complete the Political Courage Survey

Answer the same issue questions every candidate for your office gets, each with a short written explanation. This is what powers your matches in the voter-facing Smart Match tool.

  5. Submit for review

When your profile is complete, submit it. We confirm it's really you and review it (usually within a day or two); once we approve, it goes live within a minute. Nothing is public until you submit and we approve.
